Smooth transition to Paddle billing method

We are excited to announce that we are undergoing a restructure to enhance our billing process and provide you with a better and more streamlined experience. As part of this transition, we are deprecating our current Stripe account and moving to Paddle, a more efficient billing method.

Benefits of the Switch

This change is designed to elevate your subscription experience and streamline our business operations. Additionally, by making this transition, we'll be able to reduce our running costs by 10%, which will allow us to invest more in further enhancing our product.

Getting started

To facilitate this switch, we have established a migration flow that will guide you through the process step by step. Follow the instructions below to ensure a smooth changeover.

1. Head to your featureOS Dashboard → Organization → Billing → Usage.

2. Click on Migrate to Paddle. This will initiate the migration process.

   

3. You will be automatically redirected to Paddle's interface. Here, you will notice that a coupon has been automatically applied to ensure your current pricing is grandfathered.

   

4. The remaining days from your previous billing cycle will be included as trial days on Paddle. This transition will not cause any interruption in your service.

   Note: Taxes are applied exclusively based on ZIP code.

5. Rest assured, no charges will be made during the migration process. You will only be charged on your next billing date as it has been until now.

6. Once you have reviewed the details, proceed to checkout. After completing the checkout process, you will be redirected back to your featureOS dashboard's "Usage" page.

7. Congratulations! You have successfully migrated to the Paddle billing method. You can now continue enjoying featureOS.
