Public vs. Private organizations

Public Organization

Public organization's are openly accessible to any customer without requiring them to log in. Any user who visits your organization's page can view existing feedback, provide feedback, submit new ideas, report bugs, and more. Public Organizations have no restrictions, allowing users to make full use of the organization's features without any limitations.

An example of a Public Organization is https://feedback.featureos.app/

Private Organization

As a featureOS user, you have the option to create multiple organizations. If you wish to restrict access to your organization and make it private, only allowing access to specific users you add as customers, you can enable the Organization Privacy feature. When Organization Privacy is enabled, other users attempting to access your feedback portal will not be authenticated unless you have added them as customers.
