How to map custom domains to your account?

Steps you can follow to enable custom domain to your Hellonext account.

Hellonext offers an easy way to map your own domain to your Hellonext account. This means, instead of using a domain name like youyproduct.hellonext.co you can use feedback.yourproduct.com.

Here’s how we can map it: Since custom domains can be challenging for many, we wanted to help you out personally. Just initiate a chat conversation with one of our support personnel, and let them know that you would like to map a custom domain.

To give you an example, we are going to map acme.hellonext.co to feedback.acme.com, considering acme.com is your domain name of your product or service.

Once the chat gets going, you just have to do the following steps:

  1. Log in into your DNS provider (Like GoDaddy, Google Cloud DNS or Amazon Route53).
  2. Navigate to the domain you would like to map this custom domain to, and point your CNAME record for feedback.yourproduct.com to cname.hellonext.co
  3. That’s it. The propagation could take up to 24 hours, but it could be faster in some cases.

Sample configuration:

Type: CNAME

Name: feedback

Value: cname.hellonext.co

TTL: 1 hour

We will let you know once the propagation is done, and you are good to go.

Note: Hellonext automatically enables SSL certifate for your custom domain, so that your users can trust the data that’s going between their browsers and the servers.
